component for various high-tech products, as well

battery applied products.

Batteries
are usually sold in different chemical
composition
but the more important aspect of battery is
the capacity. Many
a times people buy alkaline batteries and use them in
the wall clocks .Within a few minutes the clock
is gone.
The reason:
mechanism of the clock requires very little
power and you have fed
it with higher power –
so the clock expired of overeating. You
must determine the capacity of the equipment before
deciding to buy the battery for
it. The
reverse situation would be to use a
lowest cost dry cell ( Manganese battery ) for a Personal Digital
Assistant (P D A) or a digital camera.

As of today, Sanyo is concentrating on the production of
more Ni-MH batteries due to the superiority of Ni- MH
batteries over Ni-Cd batteries in terms of toxin
property and cost of production. This
is the reason,
why, for
example, a
1,000 mAh Ni-CD battery costs more than
1,600 mAh Ni-MH battery .
